जख्म फिर से हरा हो गया
चार आँसू कोई रो दिया
फेर के मुँह कोई चल दिया
लुट रहा था किसी का जहाँ
देखती रह गयी ये ज़मीन
चूप रहा बेरहम आसमान
Translation
O my heart lets move elsewhere
Woes of the world has filled my soul.
Search for me now another home.
Move where there is no one battered by woes
There are no twinkling stars of false hopes
What use is of these springs
Which burns the buds of my soul
Which renews all my old wounds.
Some people are shedding their tears
Some leave by turning face in despair.
Someone's world was being looted
The earth stood as a mute witness
Ruthless skies too maintained silence .
