Tumi je shishir-bindu, Momo kumudir bokkhe. 
Na heriley, ogo, tomare, Tomosha ghonay chokkhhe! 

Tumi ogonto taara gogone, Prano-baayu momo jibone; 
Tobo naamey momo prem-murali - Poraner gochay baajey!

মম সরসীতে তব উজল প্রভা বিম্বিত যেন লাজে

তোমায় হেরিগো শয়নে স্বপনে তাম্বুর রাঙ্গা বয়ানে 
মরি অপরূপ রূপ মাধুরী বসন্ত-সম বিরাজে

তুমি যে শিশির বিন্দু মম কুমুদির বক্ষে

I am the night and you are the moon, floating on bosom of skies. 
Your glorious shadow in my lake radiates while it shies.

I adore your amazing beauty which adorns my heart as colorful Easter-tide. 

You are a dew drop that adorn my heart of lotus. 
Without seeing you darkness descends in eyes. 

You are like stars of dark skies, infuse soul in my life. 
My lute of love raises your tune, instilling new life.
