Translation

Wish to spend but never ends this night; the damsel of severance this night. 
The wet dripping eyes have tried million times to extinguish-this night. 

The bygone words will anyone echo. 
By forgotten names may someone beckon. 
As forehead dot is the moon, the dot adorns this night. 
In awake eyes the night doesn't seem to acquiesce - this night. 

Eons come and eons pass away, 
Moments of minute memories continue to stay.

কিছুতেই কাটে না নিশি, বিরহের এই নিশি 
ভেজা এই আঁখিতে লক্ষবার নিভায়ে নিশি 

ভুলে যাওয়া কথা, কেউ তো বোলো 
ভুলে যাওয়া নাআমে, কেউ তো ডাকো 
চাঁদের টিপের রাত্রি, টিপ সাজানো নিশি 
জেগে থাকা চোখে, পোহায়ে না নিশি 

যুগ আসে, কত যুগ যায়ে 
ছোট ছোট স্মৃতিক্ষণ না ফুরায়ে
ছল দিয়ে কালো রাত্রি, লাগে কালো নিশি 
অস্থির আঁখি লক্ষ সান্তনা দেয়- নিশি
