পাতা ঝরা বৃষ্টি বলো কেনো এনেছো 

যেখানে যাই এই বৃষ্টি তারা করে 
দিনে রাতে সে পাড়া ছাড়া করে 
তবুও রোজ ভীজে ভীজে যাই 
কে জানে কি যে , কি যে চাই 
জলে নেমে তো সব এ জেনেছো 

এক দিন যদি সবিএ, সবিএ যদি হতো 
ঢেউ কেউ বলে এখন,দুনিয়াটা কি ছোট 
ঘুম ভেঙ্গে যাবে জানি, যদি জেগে ওঠো 

তাই টুপ টাপ ঘুম 
এই দু চোখে গুমসুম 
পৃথিবীটা মুঠোয় নিয়ে দেখো 
দূরে থাকো কাছে থাকো এখন 
না বলে চলে যেওনা 
পথে নেমে যে সন্ধেয় মেনেছো

Translation

Body of mine is of leaves darling, let me drench. 
Rains like falling leaves, tell me why did you entrench? 

Wherever I go these rains haunt me. 
Often they drive me out from locality. 
Still I drench while I am on my move
What I desire, I know not why? 
You now know all as waters you too intrench. 

If one day everything, all could happen. 
The world is too small, waves wouldn't complain. 
Your sleep will be severe if you now awaken. 
So drip drop swoon. 
In these eyes oblivion. 

Hold the world in your palms and see. 
See far but stay near me. 
Don't leave without informing- 
Taking to paths dusk why you blench?
