Bhora thak sritisudhai biday'er patrakhani 
Milaner utsobe tai phiraye diyo aani 

Bishader asrujale niraber marmotale 
Gopone uthhuk phale hridoyer nuton bani 

Je pathe jete hobe se pathe tumi eka 
Nayane aandhar rabe, dheyane alok rekha 

Sara din sangopane sudharase dhalbe mone 
Paraner paddobane biraher binapani 

ভরা থাক্‌ স্মৃতিসুধায় বিদায়ের পাত্রখানি। 
মিলনের উৎসবে তায় ফিরায়ে দিয়ো আনি॥ 

বিষাদের অশ্রুজলে নীরবের মর্মতলে 
গোপনে উঠুক ফলে হৃদয়ের নূতন বাণী॥ 

যে পথে যেতে হবে সে পথে তুমি একা-- 
নয়নে আঁধার রবে, ধেয়ানে আলোকরেখা। 

সারা দিন সঙ্গোপনে সুধারস ঢালবে মনে 
পরানের পদ্মবনে বিরহের বীণাপাণি॥

Translation

May it remain filled with nectar of memories, the farewell urn . 
In celebrations of reunion the same you may return. 

In melancholy tears, in the core of heart in silence. 
May it bloom secretly, heart's new melodies. 

On the path you have to traverse, you are all alone. 
Though darkness fills the eyes, soul shines aglow. 

All day you pour sublime joys in my mind. 
In heart's lotus forests let pains of separation unwind.
