আমি পথ খুঁজি নাকো পথ মোরে খোঁজে

Translation 

Questions me the blue pole star 
How long aimlessly shall I wander? 
I cannot provide any relevant answer 
Spent whole life looking for thoroughfare. 

Few loved and lights they lighted 
The light of Sun so had paled and blighted. 
Behind my shadows I roam for no reason 
One day I realize that from you I sever. 

I don't look for ways, paths look for me. 
Mind fails all faculties and all alibis.

Tomaar haate roy, Aamar haate khoy
Tomaar mone bhoy, aamaar bhoy haaraa. 


তোমার হল শুরু, আমার হল সারা
তোমায় আমায় মিলে এমনি বহে ধারা ॥ 

তোমার জ্বলে বাতি তোমার ঘরে সাথি-- 
আমার তরে রাতি, আমার তরে তারা ॥ 

তোমার আছে ডাঙা, আমার আছে জল
তোমার বসে থাকা, আমার চলাচল।

Translation

You begin when I am done 
And flows freely our union. 

You have bright lights, good friends to lean on.
I have dark nights, faded stars is all I own.

You have shores and I live in the ocean 
You take a rest while I move on. 

Your arms preserve while my arms are for erosion.

Far female islander; know, I know you for sure. 

From the land of cinnamon grower, you are a foreigner dear. 

A slow sailor 

In Pacific ocean's tumultuous uproar, 

Your trembling rhapsodies I hear. 

What wild melodies you raise in your flute. 

Smiles spread all over the skyline of woods. 

A fresh cardamom flower at braids of your hair 

A flamboyant flower
