মা,মিছে কাজে কাটানু যে দিন, 

বুঝিনি তো বেড়ে যাবে ঋন, 

আঁধারে করেছি জমা 

আলোক রথের ওরা ভুল।। 

মা ঘরের ভেতর ঘুরে ঘুরে 

অবশ হল যে তনু মন 

মনের ভেতর জুড়ে জুড়ে 

বাজে তোর নাম অনুক্ষন।। 

মা আমি শিশু তুই যে গো মা 

অপরাধ করে নে ক্ষমা 

জননী তো ঠেলে না পায় 

সন্তান যদি হয় বাতুল।।
