दिल के मेरे पास हो इतने, फिर भी हो कितनी दूर

Translation

Day descends, night never ends. 
You never come, your memories torments. 

Those I've defected for love and earned a bad name. 
I am sitting alone with sulken heart, she's the one to blame. 
She was once my own, now now an alien. 

The same rains, the same drizzling, same is the monsoon. 
Severed from self, isolated from world, together we remain. 
Why the same monsoon not come again? 

You are so near to my heart, still appear so distant. 
You from me and I from my heart are distressed; helpless are twain. 
In such situation who'll offer condolences?
