Aami mantra tantra kichhui janine maa 
Shudhu jaa jenechhi shetuk holo ae 
Tore daakaar moto daakte jodi paari, Tobe aasbina tore emon shadhya nei 

Jodi tor o mandirer dware 
Tomaar laagi kaandi ojhor dhaaraye 
Jodi nayan hote lupta bhuban hoye shei shoy ashrutaye, Tobu aamaar kaachhe aashbina tore emaan shadhya nei 
O' maa tor emon shadhya nei 

Jani aamaar onek aache dosh Tobu maago tomaye bhalobashi 
Aami nayan mudeyo dekhte shadai paai Tomaari oyi bhuban mohan haashi 

Aami jaa kori maa shobee tomaar kaaj 
Aamaar aamaar koite laage laaj 
Jodi shokal chhede deyi Cheye achhi charan tolate Tobe chirajiban roibe dooree eman shadhya nei 
O' maa tor emon shadhya nei 

আমি মন্ত্র তন্ত্র কিছুই জানিনে মা 
শুধু যা জেনেছি সে টুক হল এই 
তোরে ডাকার মত ডাকতে যদি পারি তবে আসবিনে তোর এমনি সাধ্য নেই 

যদি তোর ও মন্দিরের ধারে 
তোমার লাগি কাঁদি অঝোর ধারে 
যদি নয়ন হতে লুপ্ত ভুবন হয়, সেই শয়ে অশ্রুতেই 
তবু আমার কাছে আসবিনে তোর এমন সাধ্য নেই । 

জানি আমার অনেক আছে দোষ তবু মাগো তোমায় ভালবাসি 
আমি নয়ন মুদেও দেখতে সদাই পাই - তোমারি ওই ভুবন মোহন হাসি । 

আমি যা করি মা সবি তোমার কাজ 
আমার আমার বলতে লাগে লাজ , 
যদি সকল ছেড়ে ঠাই চেয়েছি চরণ তলাতে ই তবে চির জীবন রইবে দূরে এমন সাধ্য নেই 
ওমা তোর এমন সাধ্য নেই।।

Translation

Hymns and rituals I know not O' mother. 
Only one thing that I came to know is this: 
If I can call you in the way I should. You will not come, such ability you don't have. 

If at the doorsteps of your enshrinement. 
I weep incessantly, tears flowing in torrents. 
If from eyes the world floods away. 
In those very tears they wash away. O' mother, then you cannot afford to stay away. 

I know I have many a flaw. O' divine mother, still I love you. 
Your smile that enchants the cosmos, even with closed eyes I can see you. 

All that I perform are your ordains. 
It shames me to call them mine's. 
If I seek refuge and renounce at your feet then lifelong you'll stay away. 
Such ability you don't have
