Bangla Parshe maachh ke dhuye jeerer bataye dau. 

Bangla bhuli kore; Bangla buker bhitore. 

Bangla kajla machher murdoye mooger bhaja daal. 

Bangla pabda maach, cheda, bata maachher jhal. 

Keo ele aar du muthho chaal daao, haaRi te daao.

Sheater bhore beora pukur, Tusu taan-er saari. 

Notun chaaler bhapa peethhe chakli aaha mori. 

Bangla Eid'er laddu banayi, achha bhore othha.

Bangla bolar samasto mukh nao go sathe nao.

বাংলা আমার সর্ষে ইলিশ ,চিংড়ি, কচি লাউ 

বাংলা পার্শে মাছকে ধুয়ে জিরের বাটায় দাও 

বাংলা ভুলি কি করে ,বাংলা বুকের ভিতরে ।। 

বাংলা কাজলা মাছের মুরোয় মুগের ভাজা ডাল 

বাংলা পাবদা মাছ চেড়া, বাচা মাছটার ঝাল 

কেউ এলে আর দুমুঠো চাল দাও হাঁড়িতে দাও 

বাংলা ভুলি কি করে ,বাংলা বুকের ভিতরে ।। 

শীতের ভোরের বেও রা পুকুর, টুসু টানের শাড়ি 

নুতন চালের ভাপা পিঠে চাকলি আহা মরি । 

বাংলা ঈদের লাড্ডু বানাই, আচ্ছা ভোরে ওঠা 

বাংলা কিশোর ভাইয়ের মাথায় ছোট্ট বোনের ফোঁটা 

বাংলা বলার সমস্ত মুখ নাও গো সাথে নাও 

বাংলা ভুলি কি করে , বাংলা বুকের ভিতরে ।।

Translation

My Bengal lives in mustard Hilsa, prawn with tender pumpkin. 

My Bengal lives in Parshe fish curry of black cummin. 

My Bengal can I forget ever; My Bengal is in my heart forever. 

My Bengal lives in Ailia fish's head in roasted green gram soup. 

My Bengal lives in chilly hot curry of catfish, panchax & minnow. 

Just add few palmful of rice to the pitcher when arrives any kin.

Wearing warm saari after taking dip in cold waters of pond in a wintry morning. 

And tasting sweets made of fresh picked steamed rice, aha I love my darling.

My Bengal lives waking up at dawn, in sweet balls of Eid-Ul-Fitr. 

My Bengal lives in Sandal dot on forehead of brother. 

Unite all mouths that speak Bengali, we're all same kin.
