যেদিন জেনেছে এই মন, তুমি যে আমার 
সেই থেকে যা পেয়েছে সে, সবই যে তোমার 

যত ভুল ভেঙে গিয়ে তাই, দেখি ফুল যেদিকেই চাই 
দুঃখ হয় প্রীতি অর্ঘ্য যদি দিয়ে যাও

Translation

Pain is sweetened if offered by you. 
Every utterance becomes song if sung by you. 

Dawn arises amidst mists, hangover of night drifts. 
Heavens shall descend in sparkle of eyes if desired by you. 

Since the day the heart realized that you are mine. 
Since that day whatever it earned, all belongs to you. 

So breaking barriers of pain, I see flowers wherever I cast my vision. 
Sufferings become sacrificial of love, if offered by you.

Chokkhe aamar trishna, Ogo trishna aamar bokkho joore. 
Aami bristibiheen baishakhee din, Santape pran jaay je poore. 

Jhar uthhechhe topto hawaye hawaye, Monke sudoor shunnye dhawaye 
Abogunthhan jaaye je ure. 

Je phool kanan korto aalo, 
Kalo hoye se shukalo. 

Jharnare ke dilo badha-Nishthhoor pashane bandha 
Dukher shikharchure. 

চক্ষে আমার তৃষ্ণা, ওগো তৃষ্ণা আমার বক্ষ জুড়ে। 
আমি বৃষ্টিবিহীন বৈশাখী দিন, সন্তাপে প্রাণ যায় যে পুড়ে॥ 

ঝড় উঠেছে তপ্ত হাওয়ায়, মনকে সুদূর শূন্যে ধাওয়ায়-- 
অবগুণ্ঠন যায় যে উড়ে॥ 

যে-ফুল কানন করত আলো 
কালো হয়ে সে শুকাল। 

ঝরনারে কে দিল বাধা- নিষ্ঠুর পাষাণে বাঁধা 
দুঃখের শিখরচূড়ে॥

Translation

My eyes filled with thirst, O'dear, thirst fills my entire heart. 
I am a rain-less day of early summer, my soul burns with scorching heat. 

Storms arise with these heated wind spates, it drifts the mind in vacuous spaces. 
The veil flies-fleets. 

The flower; garden it once brightened. 
It turned black and wilted 

The streams were blocked, the merciless rocks locked. 
On top of mountains of afflicts.
