তোমায় হৃদ মাঝারে রাখিবো ছেড়ে দেবো না" 

ওরে ছেড়ে দিলে সোনার গৌড় আর পাবো না 

ভূবনো মোহনো গোরা, কোন মণিজনার মনোহরা 

ওরে রাধার প্রেমে মাতোয়ারা চাঁদ গৌড় ধূলায় যাই ভাই গড়াগড়ি 

যেতে চাইলে যেতে দেবো না, না না না। 

যাবো ব্রজের কুলে কুলে, আমরা মাখবো পায়ে রাঙ্গাধুলি 

ওরে নয়নেতে নয়ন দিয়ে রাখবো তারে চলে গেলে- 

চলে গেলে যেতে দেবো না, 

যে ডাকে চাঁদ গৌড় বলে, ওগো ভয় কিগো তার ব্রজের কুলে 

"ওরে দ্বিজ ভূষণ চাঁদ বলে" চরন ছেড়ে দেবো না, না না না 

তোমায় বক্ষ মাঝে রাখিবো ছেড়ে দেবো না। 

তোমায় হৃদ মাঝারে রাখিবো ছেড়ে দেবো না। 

ওরে ছেড়ে দিলে সোনার গৌড় আর পাবো না 

Translation

Shall keep you in my heart forever, I shall leave you never. 

Leave, if I ever, the golden touch of lord, I shall feel never. 

The world is filled with illusions of ornaments, jewelries and worldly treasures.

The lovely Krishna in love of Radha falls on floor and rolls in dust, no one cares. 

If Krishna wants to leave, I shall allow never. 

Shall go to his birthplace, on my foot shall apply the colorful loess. 

Shall keep our eyes wide-open lest he flees. 

If Krishna wishes to flee, shall allow never. 

One who chants the holy name, what fear shall ever be his burden? 

Says the poet Dwija Bhushan who always chants the holy name. 

The feet of Lord Krishna, I shall leave never. 

Shall embed you in my soul, leave you never. 

Shall keep you in my heart, leave you never. 

Leaving means your golden touch I shall feel never.

Kabhi nagma banke kabhi banke aansoo 
Tadapta mujhe har taraf paaoge tum 
Shama jo jalaayi hai meri wafa ne 
Bujhaana bhi chaaho bujha na sakoge.. 

Kabhi naam baatoN meiN aaya jo mera 
To bechain ho hoke dil thaam loge 
Nigahon mein chhayega gam ka andhera 
Kisi ne jo poochha sabab-a-subooN ka

मेरे दिल की धड़कन बनी हैं जो शोला 
सुलगते हैं अरमां यूँ बन बन के आँसू 
कभी तो तुम्हे भी ये एहसास होगा 
मगर हम ना होंगे तेरी जिंदगी में 
भूलाना भी चाहो भूला ना सकोगे

Translation

You are shedding me from your eyes. 
But forget me, you shall never. 
I don't know why I am certain 
My love that you feel, you can erase never. 

My memories shall haunt you, you may go wherever. 
Sometimes as lyrics, sometimes as tears. 
Restive you'll find me longing for you everywhere. 
The flames that my loyalty has lit for you. 
Even if you desire to put it off, you shall never. 

When mention of my name occurs in some discussion. 
You'll become restless and hold your breath. 
A veil of gloomy tears shall wipe your vision. 
When someone refers to your tears and ask its reason. 
Even if you wish to disclose, you may never. 

My heartbeats has now become towering flames. 
Flames of desires rise and flow through tears. 
One day I hope that you'll realize the same. 
But then I shall not be in your life. 
Even if you wish to forget, you shall never.
