Haay ke dibe ar swantona
Sakole giyachhe he, tumi jeyo na
Chaho prasanno nayone,
Prabhu, din adhin jane
Chari dike chai, heri na kahare
Keno gele feli akela adhare
Hero he sunno bhuban mamo
হায় কে দিবে আর সান্ত্বনা।
সকলে গিয়েছে হে, তুমি যেয়ো না
চাহো প্রসন্ন নয়নে, প্রভু,
দীন অধীন জনে ॥
চারি দিকে চাই, হেরি না কাহারে।
কেন গেলে ফেলে একেলা আঁধারে;
হেরো হে শূন্য ভুবন মম ॥
Translation
Alas, now who shall offer solace?
All are gone, you don't go please.
Look upon me with smiling eyes;
O' Lord, on the weak and duteous.
I look around, can't see any existence.
Why did you leave me alone in darkness.
Now look at my world of emptiness.
