Majhe majhe prane tomar parashkhani diyo

Kemon kore metabo je khunje na paai disha
Aye andhar je purna tomaye sei kotha bolio
Hridoy aamar chay je dite, kebal nite noi,
Boye boye beraay se tar ja kichhu sanchay
Hathkhani oi barie aano, dao go aamar haate
Dhorbo taare, bhorbo taare, rakhbo taare saathe,
Ekala pather chala aamar korbo ramonio
শুধু তোমার বাণী নয় গো, হে বন্ধু, হে প্রিয়,
মাঝে মাঝে প্রাণে তোমার পরশখানি দিয়ো ॥
সারা পথের ক্লান্তি আমার সারা দিনের তৃষা
কেমন করে মেটাব যে খুঁজে না পাই দিশা—
এ আঁধার যে পূর্ণ তোমায় সেই কথা বলিয়ো ॥
হৃদয় আমার চায় যে দিতে, কেবল নিতে নয়,
বয়ে বয়ে বেড়ায় সে তার যা-কিছু সঞ্চয় ।
হাতখানি ওই বাড়িয়ে আনো, দাও গো আমার হাতে—
ধরব তারে, ভরব তারে, রাখব তারে সাথে,
একলা পথের চলা আমার করব রমণীয় ॥
Translation
Not just your prophecy, my friend, my lover,
Sometimes your tactility please do offer.
The travails of the way, the thirst of entire day;
How do I quench, I find no way
This darkness is dips your being, please do utter.
My heart wishes to offer, not only to receive.
It flows burdened with sediments as reserve.
Extend your arms and offer me your's.
I'll hold it, fill it, and keep it close.
Travelling alone shall I fill with pleasure.
