ये मेरे ख़्वाबों की दुनिया नहीं सही लेकिन
अब आ गया हूँ तो दो दिन क़याम करता चलूँ

Translation
Madam, I hereby pay my respects to you while passing by.
I was walking by so thought to greet you while passing by.
These are the last desires of my eyes and heart-
To spend sometime under shades of your hairs while eve is passing by.
She placed a condition, not to look at anyone after seeing her.
I always had the habit of greeting all while passing by.
This may not be the world of my dreams.
Since I'm here, let me see two more days passing by.

হুজুর, আপনাকেও সম্মান জানিয়ে যাই
এদিক দিয়ে যাচ্ছিলাম, ভাবলাম নমস্কার জানিয়ে যাই।
দৃষ্টি ও হৃদয়ের এটাই ছিল শেষ ইচ্ছে
তোমার কেশের তলায়ে সন্ধ্যা কাটিয়ে যাই।
ওনার জেদ ছিল যে ওনাকে দেখার পর আর কাউকে যেন না দেখি
আর আমার অভ্যাস সবাই কে জানান দিয়ে যাই
এটা আমার স্বাপ্নের দুনিয়া নয় কিন্তু-
এসে যখন পড়েছি, দুদিন কাটিয়ে যাই।।
