Na jeo na go 
Ogo sesh patago shakhaye tumi thako 
Chhile tumi chhilaam aami 
ChinhoTi taar rakho. 

Uttor baayu koruk shashon 
Jaak muchhe jaak sobuj ashon. 
Sesh belakaar osesh niye 
Sheat'er chhobi anko. 

Oyi paata-taaye amar hobe tomaar aamar kotha 
Pasha pashi thakbe tola, anondo ar byatha. 
Bosonto din asbe jokhon, phool hoye na hoy phutbo tokhon. 
Heemel raat'er dukhkho tomar bhushan kore thakho. 

না না যেও না। 
ওগো শেষ পাতা গো শাখায় তুমি থাকো 
ছিলে তুমি ছিলাম আমি। 
চিহ্নটি তার রাখো।। 

উত্তর বায়ূ করুক শাসন 
যাক মুছে যাক সবুজ আসন। 
শেষ বেলাকার অশেষ নিয়ে 
শীতের ছবি আঁকো।। 

ঐ পাতাটায় অমর হবে তোমার আমার কথা 
পাশাপাশি থাকবে তোলা আনন্দ আর ব্যথা। 
বসন্ত দিন আসবে যখন ফুল হয়ে নয় ফুটবো তখন। 
হিমেল রাতের দুঃখ তোমার ভূষণ করে থাকো।। 

Translation 

No please don't go. 
O' the last leaf of the twig may you reign. 
I was here, you were here- 
Please preserve that sign. 

May the north winds reign. 
May erase the seat of green. 
With last vigor of last moments- 
Paint image of winter screen. 

On this last leaf, eternity shall our tale attain . 
Side by side shall remain, happiness and pain. 
When spring comes; as flower may bloom again. 
Till then adorn your pain in icy cold nights as nature's design.
