মন ভোলানোর মন্ত্রটা তুই ভালই গেছিস শিখে l
সেই তোকে তার মন দিয়ে ফেলে তাকাস রে যার দিকে ll
সেতো জানেনা তুই পালাবি শুধু নেশাতে মন জ্বালাবি;
এ খেলা খেলে যে ঘটাবি সর্বনাশ রে।
তবু শুনে রাখ তুই সব ফুলেরাই সহজ সরল নয় l
অনেকের ওই ওই পাপড়ির নীচে গোপন কাঁটা যে রয় ll
আরও প্রনয়ে তোকে জড়িয়ে আর সুখেতে মন ভরিয়ে;
হঠাৎ কখন পরাবে মরণ ফাঁস রে।
