Tobu doya kore keboli diyechho pratidaan kichhu chaoni.
Aami chhutiya berayi jaanina ki ashe, sudha paan kori mori go piyashe.
Tobu jaha chai sokoli peyechhi, Tumi to kichhu paoni.
Aamay rakhite chaho go bandhon e antiya, sotobaar jaai bandhon katiya.
Bhabi chhere gechho, phire cheye dekhi, Ek pao chhere jaoni.
আমি অকৃতী অধম ব'লেও তো কিছু কম করে মোরে দাওনি;
যা দিয়েছ, তারি অযোগ্য ভাবিয়া কেড়েও তা কিছু নাওনি।।
তব আশীষ কুসুম ধরি নাই শিরে, পায়ে দলে গেছি, চাহি নাই ফিরে;
তবু দয়া করে কেবলি দিয়েছ, প্রতিদান কিছু চাওনি।।
আমি ছুটিয়া বেড়াই, জানিনা কি আশে, সুধা পান করে মরি গো পিয়াসে;
তবু যাহা চাই সকলি পেয়েছি; তুমি তো কিছুই পাওনি।।
আমায় রাখিতে চাও গো, বাঁধনে আঁটিয়া, শতবার যাই বাঁধন কাটিয়া।
ভাবি ছেড়ে গেছ, ফিরে চেয়ে দেখি, এক পা-ও ছেড়ে যাওনি।।

Translation
Though I am worthless and despicable yet any less you didn't offer to me.
Whatever you had offered I thought it worthless yet you didn't snatch away from me.
I didn't uphold your blossoms of blessings, crushed them without penance.
Yet you compassionately went on offering never asking anything in return from me.
I wander know not chasing which desire, die of thirst while drinking nectar.
Yet I receive whatever I desire while you didn't get anything in return from me.
You wish to enchain me while chains snap many a time.
I think that you left me; I turn back; not for once you deserted me.
