আকাশ আমায় ভরল আলোয়, আকাশ আমি ভরব গানে।
সুরের আবীর হানব হাওয়ায়, নাচের আবীর হাওয়ায় হানে॥

রাঙা রঙের শিখায় শিখায় দিকে দিকে আগুন জ্বলাস
আমার মনের রাগরাগিণী রাঙা হল রঙিন তানে॥
দখিন হাওয়ার কুসুমবনের বুকের কাঁপন থামে না যে।
নীল আকাশে সোনার আলোয় কচি পাতার নূপুর বাজে।

Translation
The skies have filled me with radiance, I shall fill the skies with melodies.
Shall imbue the airs with melody's holy red dyes, red dyes of dance imbues the airs.
O' Flame of the Forest, O' Flame of the Forest,
With twigs of your color of crimson, you aflame every direction.
The strains of my heart are dyed with colorful melodies.
Southern winds go on fluttering in bosom of garden pf flowers.
In mellow yellow radiance of blue skies anklets of young leaves clinkers.
O' Rain-trees, O' Rain-trees,
Behind your mild smiles you weave webs of fragrances-
Your aroma in my voice-my heart allures and cheers.
