Translation

Keeping aside desires and pleasures, O heart come and look inside and inquire. 

Let us keep the love and devotion of soul together. It should cry out, O' mother.

The world is but a playground before me. 
Everyday the same games are played before me. 

The desert disappears as dust before me. 
The rivers rub on forehead the ashes before me.

My faith is behind me and my god is before me.

ছাইভস্ম কপালে মাখে রোজ নদী আমার সামনে।। 

জানতে চেয়োনা আমার মনের অবস্থা তোমার পেছনে।
তুমি দেখো তোমার রঙ্গ আমার সামনে।।

আমার ধর্ম আমাকে পিছিয়ে যেতে বাধা দেয়।
আমার ধর্ম আমার পেছনে আর ঈশর আমার সামনে।।

আমার হাত হয়তো কাঁপছে তবুও আমার দৃষ্টি ঠিকই আছে।
