যদি কিছু আমারে শুধাও 

কি যে তোমারে কবো 

নীরবে চাহিয়া রবো 

না বলা কথা বুঝিয়া নাও।। 

ঐ আকাশ নত যুগে যুগে সংযত 

নীরবতা অবিরত কথা বলে গেছে কত। 

তেমনই আমার বাণী সৌরভে কানাকানি। 

হয় যদি ভ্রমরা গো সে ব্যাথা বুঝিয়া নাও।। 

অন্তরে অন্তরে যদি কোন মন্তরে 

বোবা এ প্রানের ব্যাথা বোঝানো যেতো গো তারে। 

কবির কবিতা সবই তুলি দিয়ে আঁকা ছবি। 

কিছু নয় তার কাছে এ টুকু বিঝিয়া নাও।।

Aaj oi chokhe sagorer neel. 

Aami gaayichhi gaan gaayichhi, 

Bujhi mone mone hoye gelo meel. 

Kabari te oi kanakchampa 

Na bola kothaye thor thor adhar kampa. 

Taayi ki akaash holo aaj aloye jhil-mil. 

Ei jeno noy go protham, tomaye je koto dekhechhi. 

Swapner tuli diye taayi, tomaar se chhobi enkechhi. 

Moumachhi aaj gun gun dolaye pakha 

Jeno ei hridoye ramdhanu khushi te makha 

Taayi jeno gaan'er soore aaj bhore aamar riniki

আমি চেয়ে চেয়ে দেখি সারাদিন

কবরীতে ওই কনকচাঁপা 

না বলা কথায় থর থর আধর কাঁপা

এই যেন নই গো প্রথম, তোমায় যে কত দেখেছি 

স্বপনেরও তুলি দিয়ে তাই, তোমার সে ছবি এঁকেছি 

মৌমাছি আজ গুন গুন দোলায় পাখা 

যেন এই হৃদয় রামধনু খুশিতে মাখা 

তাই কি গানের সুরে আজ ভরে আমার রিনিকি ।।
